At its foundation is a passion for beautiful antiques. Edgar-Reeves founders Stephanie Edgar Reeves and Bill Reeves have been avid collectors for many, many years and their love of beautiful things has taken them the world over searching for the exquisite and the rare.
After dealing in a variety of antiques for several years, Stephanie decided to specialize in lamps and lampshades. Her unique and creative eye soon won her many clients who became the cornerstones of a new business. With the pop of a cork, good friends in tow, and their standard poodle house mascot at their side, Stephanie and Bill opened the doors to Edgar-Reeves on a crisp fall day in 1995.
Today, Edgar-Reeves provides hundreds of lamps and lampshades to a wide variety of designers, decorators, and collectors nationwide from their townhouse shop in Atlanta. They specialize in creating one of a kind lamps, both bespoke and from their inventory. They creatively adapt European and American antiques, handcrafted pottery, architectural fragments, along with many other objects, into distinctive lamps that provide exclusive appeal to any room.
Likewise, Edgar-Reeves carries a large array of quality lampshades in a variety of materials, sizes, shapes, and colors. If their stock shades don’t meet your needs, they are happy to custom make shades. You may choose from their fabrics and trims or provide your own.
Naturally, given their love of antiques and joy of collecting, their shop wouldn’t be complete without some additional treasures to accompany the perfect lamp, lantern or chandelier. Choose an antique chest, table, or sideboard to complement your new lighting or interior. Or select a piece of art from their wide collection of framed antique engravings and prints, as well as commissioned works from local artists.
You are invited to take it all in — online and in person…
